Mayfield Weedon, L.L.P., was established in 2002 by founding partners and Longview natives Marc Mayfield and Frank Weedon, who wanted to bring their legal experience back to their hometown to provide East Texans with representation in a wide range of legal matters.
Mr. Mayfield and Mr. Weedon have strong connections to Longview and the East Texas region. They grew up together and graduated from Longview high School in 1986. After gaining years of unique training in the Houston and Dallas areas in catastrophic personal injury and workers’ compensation law, they returned to their hometown of Longview to establish Mayfield Weedon, L.L.P.
Mr. Mayfield is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. For over nineteen years, Mr. Mayfield has litigated cases concerning personal injury, wrongful death, oil field and industrial accidents, defective products, toxic torts, trucking accidents, motorcycle and vehicle accidents, and on the job injuries.
Mr. Weedon is board certified in workers’ compensation law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has handled workers’ compensation claims for over twenty years, first as an adjuster working for insurance companies, and now as an attorney representing victims of oil field and industrial injuries.
